MEET THE HOSTS
Sue and Capt. Jim Genthner washed ashore on Nantucket over 40 years ago. They built their home in 1992 and in 2024 were thrilled to complete Stowaway, a second dwelling, on their property in Surfside. Sue and Jim raised their children in the original house next door and love when they visit from their homes in the Boston area. You may also have a chance to meet their Golden Retriever Samson while you're on the property! As the owners of the island's longest operating sailing charter, Sue and Jim look forward to sharing their love of Nantucket with you. You may want to include a sail with Capt. Jim during your visit!

Cancellation Policy: fully refundable 90 days prior to check in
Minimum Stay: one week (May 24 - Sept. 20); shorter stays considered for shoulder seasons
Occupancy: maximum 6 people
Car Ferry Reservations: if you wish to bring your car on island but have found reservations tricky, we have transferable tickets available Friday-Friday for July 11 - July 18, July 18 - July 25, July 25 - Aug 1, Aug 15 - Aug 22
Weekly Rates:
May: $5,000/week
June: $6,000/week
July & August: $ 7,500/week
September: $6,000/week
October & November: $3,000/week
Other Dates (including Daffodil Weekend and Stroll): call or e-mail for rates
Published rates do not include $300 cleaning fee and taxes. Current state tax is 5.7% and current local tax is 6%.
